2009 was a really boring year in music. Axe to Fall and The Jesus Lizard remasters were the only albums I was stoked on.

2009 was the year of hiphop for me...Wale, Kid Cudi, and POS did me well.
Shook Ones and Dead To Me also put out rad albums...other than that...i was really stoked on how KLAF turned out this year.

i gotta say thanks for anyone who helped me out with the 820 shows. they were a blast and fuck the police. it was a good long run and i wouldn't trade it for anything.
also a wolf ticket killed it.

Good shit, although there's too many camping bitches out there. Music-wise, it was a slow year, but Gaza, Comadre, Nile, and Loma Prieta released some of my favorite albums of 2009. I was a bit disappointed with the new Coalesce album, and Burnt By The Sun's heart of Darkness was good, but I got bored after a few listens. Favorite movies: Law Abiding Citizen, Inglorious Bastards, The Hurt Locker, Pirate Radio, Taken. Best moments of 2009: finally meeting the Comadre dudes, playing with Hewhocorrupts on my birthday, buying an Xbox 360 with a copy of Street Fighter IV (that game ruined my life), going to a Hirax show, and getting great grades with minimum effort and maximum procrastination. I think 2010 will be a good year. I'm looking forward to writing new songs, starting a new band, finish recording, and getting AIDS or any other STD before 2012. |
