word. JCM2000 aren't much for beef. the distortion just isn't pushed enough. Using a 50 watt one isnt a bad idea. or do the Jeffy signature maneuver of taking one of your tubes out. That way it gets pushed a lot more, and u can always put the tube back in if you need the extra umph.

actually..i think steven did that to mine... cause when i look inside theres a slot whgere it looks like there could be a tube... but there isn;t.... and for whatever reason my amp sounds BETTER the more i turn it up

It sounds better when it's turned up because you're sending more power through the tubes and saturating them. That's why it's better to have a smaller amp run at full volume (50 watt) than a large amp run at half volume (100 watt).
