Does anyone have a set of recording monitors they don't use anymore?
Anyone? Anyone?

No, no like computer monitors. They're reference monitors for recording. Lets just put it this way...Say I'm mixing and mastering with headphones or just regular run of the mill computer speakers. I can get it to sound good on those speakers or headphones, but they won't sound so good on other speakers and such. Reference monitors are made to reproduce signals accurately, while home-stereo, headphones, or computer speakers are specifically designed to make recordings sound “better.”<br> Sort of catching my drift now?
