Wanted: Guitar Head

i'm interested in buying a Guitar Head. I know peavey recently stopped producing the 5150's, but they have these new amps that are supposed to be pretty rad, the 6505 and 6505+, basically the same as 5150, just an anniversary edition.. but anyway, i'm looking to buy one of these types of heads. Soldano
-Avenger head.. or another model two channels, not too up on Soldano models, but i'm interested. but it must have a clean and dist channel.

Engl
-Powerball Head

i wanna try and come under $1000, but i'm not too sure if that's possible when it comes to soldano and engl, but we'll see. I know someone's gotta know someone with a 5150, so just email me.

Yeah...the new "5150s" are the same. The name changed because Eddie Van Halen left Peavey. The possiblity of Engls or Soldanos under $1000 seems like a small possibility.

dude, for 1200 you can get the JSX.. it's like a peavey xxx and 5150 combined... it's sooo sick, it has a built in noise gate and has ana amazing tone.. go down to guitar center or somthin and jam one.. you'll be impressed

you can get a 5150 on ebay or craigs list for $500-600.

i got mine off craigs list for 500 and its seriously awesome.


good luck getting a soldano or engl for that price.
