awesome show last night!
i think (maybe) these might be some helpful tips on not having cops show up and/or blowing up your spot:
-talk to neighbors and let them know you are having shows and what days there will be noise/shows. -set a "stop-noise-time" for all your shows. make sure the show/noise will be OVER by a certain time (prob go with 11pm weekend / 10pm weeknight...i dunno, whatever you think would work). -promise your neighbors that everything will end at whatever you set your "stop-noise-time". -give neighbors your cell phone number to call you if they have to complain (instead of calling the cops). -try not booking shows with more than 4 bands (maybe 5 bands max) in order to make sure that if you start the show later than planned, it doesnt go over the "cut-off-time". and also, you gotta think, usually everytime a band is over, you're gonna have people NOT inside where the bands play...if you have a lot of bands, people might get too cramped and/or that's a lot of times you are gonna have people flooding around/outside your house making more noise and calling attention to your spot.
...in other words, you guys TOTALLY scored and this house is fuckin RAD as hell. would be amazing to see a LOOOOOT of shows happen here.
