on the real though, converge is my favorite band, and i am not feeling this song at all.
the only part i liked was from 1:57-2:20ish.
it didnt feel like converge at all.

Still curious to hear the full album, but why is it that Jane Doe sounds light years ahead of anything they've done since? You Fail Me was definitely a bit of a disappointment, but No Heroes fucking rules. Sure, its no Jane Doe, but fantastic nonetheless. |

im diggin the tapping but kurt just does the same pattern for the whole song. im sure the rest of the album will be aight but its got a hint of that louisville rocknroll and im kinda over that shit.

I still don't understand the You Fail Me hate. Maybe it's just me, but that album has some of the most face smashing songs ever. In Her Blood probably has one of my favorite parts ever.

you fail me is a goddamn fantastic album. i'd like to know why you think it was a disappointment. i need answers. I skip some songs on You Fail Me, but love others. It has a doom-y element to it and a great tone for each instrument. I'm just spoiled by the big creative leap they made between their previous stuff and Jane Doe. Wouldn't want them to re-make the same record, but it has an impeccable flow, and I think the writing is really inventive. |
