boston beatdown is a group of hxc community members who have bonded together to take down things they dont like, promoating violence for what they think is right, and that their opinions are correct all the time so they must carry it out. boston beatdown II DVD was recently released and you can pick it up @ tower and other record stores and in the videos it shows mayhem and good bands.
boston police and gang forces are now out to take down all hardcore and punk rock people in the boston area. people are being harrased for wearing a shirt??

i watch that documentary that they made about it. its some scary stuff. hardcore music or music in general shouldn't be like that. what ever happened to the good old days were kids would have so much fun drinking cokes and watching there favortie punk band and going to shows without hurting anyone or getting into a convertaion. this is why i'm proud to live in redwood city were its a peaceful scene, same with the other scenes in the bay area. also all you kids that are getting into the scene, if you go to boston, don't go to one of those shows, you will seriously be in trouble.

Checkers aka mike hasn't even seen it! ???damn you mike! Anyways, that dvd was some crazy shit. But it's not about all boston kids, it's about one crew called "FSU:Friends stand unitied" Some good live footage of bands though. ;D
i think this is one of the most degrating things i've heard about. fuck, i mean, i seriously see NO good things comming out of their actions. i'm hearing that a bunch of all ages venues are being shut down over there, and just a lot of punk/hardcore kids are being totally harrased for no reason. this shit is humiliating, and a descrace to hardcore and "hardcore" really means to people. i very much agree with bryan about the love that rwc and other surrounding area have...it's incredible (that's why we started this damn site!). but yeah, fuck these kids that actually think this is helping hardcore...and whatever bands have agreed to be on these dvds arn't any better than the people making them.

i currently live in boston (soon the bay area) and i can say i am friends with some of these dudes and enemies of some of them... so from an objective 1st person standpoint i can honestly say the whole thing stinks.

yeah, i once had the priviledge of living in the bay area for 16 years and growing up with one of the best scenes and i didnt know it, then moved to san luis obispo where the kids dont know shit about a scene, the boys of abhb know what im talking aobut when assholes start fights at shows it's by far the dumbest thing ever... learn to control yourselves or your "hardcoreness" will get our shows shut down, but i know the RWC doesn't do things like that so i dont have any worries..

Ok, i saw it today. the video is good but the values are bad. Hardcore isnt about the crews, its about the music. a video everyone show watch is . its the real core. lol. anyways if these people just got laid. they'd be ok. redwood scene woot.
